What tree removal includes
Every removal is planned around what's under and around the tree: the house, the fence, the driveway and the neighbor's yard. The job covers:
- Taking the tree down safely. In one piece when there's room to drop it, or in sections from the top when it stands close to a building.
- Cutting up the trunk and limbs into pieces that can be moved and loaded.
- Hauling away the wood and brush, so nothing is left piled in your yard.
- Cleaning up the yard like it's our own when the work is done.
- Stump grinding if you want it, so the spot can be mowed or planted again. See stump grinding.
Signs a tree should come down
Not every problem tree has to go. These signs usually mean it's time to have someone look at it:
- Dead branches or bare sections while the rest of the tree has leaves
- A lean that is new or getting worse
- Deep cracks or splits in the trunk
- Rot, hollow spots or mushrooms at the base
- Roots lifting the soil, or heavy storm damage
- Limbs growing into the roof or crowding the house
